Getting there is half the fun

By midnight Wednesday, only about 80 nautical miles separated us from our first target site. A little more than an hour by car, but a lot longer by icebreaker through the Arctic pack ice. There are no definite routes through the Arctic. You have to find and follow your own “leads.”
