It was a dark and foggy day. Just like yesterday. And the day before that. And probably the day before that, if we could distinguish three days ago from two days ago. During the early morning hours, the CTD team had found a hydrothermal plume, and that made us smile. And then something else did, too. It was a great day to be floating in the Arctic Ocean, hunting for hydrothermal vents on the seafloor.
